Dr. Anil K. Gupta, the co-founder of China India Institute, is one of the world's most respected experts on the subject of global strategy and organization. He is the author of over sixty papers and four books: The Quest for Global Dominance (Jossey-Bass, 2001 and 2nd Edition in 2008), Smart Globalization (Jossey-Bass, 2003), Global Strategy and Organization (John Wiley, 2003). Financial Times has published four of Gupta's papers in a series on "Mastering Global Business." As a top researcher and thought leader, Professor Gupta's papers have appeared in major journals such as Strategic Management Journal, Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Organization Science, MIT Sloan Management Review, Journal of Business Strategy, Human Resource Management, and Business Horizons.

Co-founder, Haiyan Wang, has co-authored the book The Quest for Global Dominance - 2nd Edition. Their other publications include invited opinion pieces for The Wall Street Journal, Financial Times, THe Economic Times, and China Daily. Their next book The Battle for China and India will be published by Jossey-Bass/John Wiley in Fall 2008.
